Cinema with Us 2017 [YIDFF 2017: Oct 5-12]

Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival 2017 (Oct 5-12) has successfully ended. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who participated in our festival.

This year we had another successful edition of Cinema with Us program again, featuring new documentary films on the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake and its aftermath, as well as works from Cambodia produced by the Bophana  Audiovisual Resource Center.  Eight films were shown in the program and three lively discussion events were held. The total admission of the screening programs counted 387, while three discussions attracted 144 participants in total.
