This film is full of helpful ideas for vulnerable groups such as women, children and elderlies in the occurence of a disaster, including a unique 'hinan kunren' (disaster drills) which is practicable for a small number of people on the spot. As the victims of the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake (2011), the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake (1997) and Niigata Prefecture Chuetsu Earthquake (2004), BOSAI Girls talk their own firsthand experiences. This is an instructive documentary for learning disaster measures in class rooms and offices, as well as for events to promote gender equality.
