Part 1: The Hosei University Cheering Squad Goes to Yamada-cho, Iwate (20 min.) – A town of Yamada suffered a devastating blow due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The cheering squad at Hosei University in Tokyo has organized summer camps in the town of Yamada. The members of the cheering squad thought about what they can do for them, but the only thing they could do was to cheer. On April 29th, the members visit Yamada and cheer for the recovery.
Part 2: The Cheering Squad Members Wish (10 min.) – Three weeks after the initial visit to Yamada, the members of the cheering squad at Hosei University talk about their experience and their activities in Yamada.
Part 3: Summer of Yamada (15 min.) – In August, summer holidays are around the corner and the town of Yamada is preparing for summer festival. Various villagers; nursing home staff, fishermen, store owners, and factory workers discuss their recovery efforts making progress one step at a time.
