3.11 Special Program and Open Talk held at SIDOF2016 in Seoul (March 24 - 31)

Seoul Independent Documentary Video & Film Festival 2016 was held in Seoul city center from March 24 - 31, 2016. One of the programs, "Asia Focus" featured 3.11 Japanese documentaries, including Voices from the Waves (YIDFF 2013 International Competition), Tell the Prime Minister (YIDFF 2015 Cinema with Us), Documentary PROJECT FUKUSHIMA! and Tokyo Drifter.

On March 29th, Open Talk session titled "5 Years from the Great East Japan Earthquake: Recording and Spreading" was also held, where Sakai Ko, director of Voices from the Waves (and other Tohoku Trilogy films), Ogawa Naoto, programmer of DOMMUNE FUKUSHIMA! and of YIDFF's Cinema with Us 2013 and 2015, and Hata Ayumi, head of operations for YIDFF 311 Documentary Film Archive, were invited as guest speakers.
