The YAMAGATA Documentary Library Friday Theater / 3.11 Memorial screening of 'Still, We Sow the Seeds of Hope' was held on March 4th. We invited the program's director Fukaya Shigemi from TV-U Fukushima (above) and Tada Yoko of Yamagata's volunteer support center as panelists for the talk session after the show. They talked about the hardship and reality Fukushima farmers are suffering and the current situation of Fukushima farmland and agricultural production.
The number of audience counted about 40, which was nearly full house, including a farming family evacuated from Fukushima to Oemachi, Yamagata, and a farmer who learned organic farming in Takabata town together with the protagonist Mr. Sugeno many years ago.
