The Great East Japan earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011. Ishinomaki City in Miyagi prefecture was severely damaged. Following the high probability for several regions in Japan having large earthquakes, it should be important to record how Ishinomaki city was affected by the 3.11 earthquake and tsunami and its reconstruction process as a historical/archival material for future disaster management. This video series was produced for this purpose.
