Futaba town, where located a home territory of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, and all the households in the town were called for an evacuation after the accident on March 11th 2011. The town moved temporarily by its municipal government headquarter to Saitama Prefecture next month, and the townspeople were forced to live as refugees at the base of an abolished high school. First evacuees of nuclear disaster in Japan. They were provided a place to sleep and food, however, there is no "life". Though the movement of "anti-nuclear power" in Tokyo, Futaba's people who lived with the nuclear power plants had mixed feelings. The mayor of Futaba town decided to evacuate town-people to Saitama Prefecture, to prevent so many people from being exposed to radiation. But some town-people began to cry several voices, that "we should return the administrative office to Fukushima" .
This is a documentary about people of Futaba town for one year, who live looking ahead to the future, that got the feeling of the loss of their hometown and faced division of their town.

Director's Bio/Filmography Working as a school catering cook of elementary schools in Saitama Prefecture, Horikiri studied video production and editing at a public media lecture "MediR" in 2008. Her first work is "Kami no mau shima"(2009), a twenty-minute documentary featuring people of Iwaishima Island against the Kaminoseki Nuclear Power Plant.
