One year and seven months after the great earthquake. The inland area regained normal daily life, and weeds grow lush in the maritime area. Normal days were estranged from March 11. It becomes difficult to tell, what kind of landscape and how every day was there in the coastal area before the tsunami damage. When you listen to the sound in the changing environment, you can recognize that the sound has changed. A far-off sound can be heard, the nearby sound has changed to the chirping of insects. We keep watching, tracing someone's homeward path.

| Director's Bio/Filmography | Born in Sendai City in 1980. Takano runs a construction company. While working as a volunteer for the recovery effort, he began recording the damage afflicted area and subsequent recovery effort after the Great East Japan Earthquake hit Sendai. Since 2012, he has been hosting "koe cinema" (voice cinema), which offers opportunities for the screening of disaster record images and crosstalk. He recently started recording everyday events of his locals whom he frequented during the recovery effort. |
